Starting November 15, 2023, all individuals, including children, intending to travel to the UK must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) card. This rule applies to those who were previously eligible to enter the UK without a visa and are not already legal residents of the country.

Under this new travel rule, anyone seeking a UK visa will now need to secure an ETA card before entering or transiting through the UK. This requirement covers various categories of travelers, including those planning visits of less than six months, business travelers, tourists, and individuals visiting family and friends.
