If you’re in Paris and wondering whether Disneyland Paris deserves a spot on your itinerary, here’s what you need to know without the marketing fluff.

The basics: Two parks (Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios), over 50 attractions, and it’s about 32km outside central Paris. Tickets start around $58 for a single park, single day.

What’s actually good about it

The new “Disney Tales of Magic” nighttime show is genuinely impressive. They use 20 high-definition LED projectors along Main Street that transform the entire area into scenes from Disney and Pixar films. It’s not just fireworks and castle projections – the whole street becomes part of the story.

Ratatouille: The Adventure is a solid 4D ride that shrinks you down to rat-size and sends you through a French kitchen. If you’ve got kids (or you’re a Pixar fan), this one delivers.

Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain takes the classic Space Mountain and adds a Star Wars overlay. High-speed roller coaster with a galaxy theme.

Right now through January 6, 2026, they’re running Disney Enchanted Christmas with the full festive setup – decorated streets, Christmas parade, special character meet-and-greets in holiday outfits.

The pricing breakdown

  • 1 Day, 1 Park: Starts at $58
  • 1 Day, Both Parks: Starts at $87
  • 2 Days, Both Parks: Starts at $149
  • Non-dated tickets (valid for a year): $138-167 but require advance reservation

The “Disney Premier Access Ultimate” costs an extra $140-160 on top of your ticket. It’s their skip-the-line pass. Whether that’s worth it depends on when you’re going – weekdays outside school holidays probably don’t need it, but weekends and peak season it might save you hours.

Smart booking tip

Dated tickets (where you pick your day when booking) give you free cancellation up to 72 hours before. Non-dated tickets cost more, can’t be cancelled, and you still have to reserve your specific day in advance anyway. Unless your schedule is completely uncertain, dated tickets are the better deal.

Should you go?

If you’re in Paris for 2-3 days, probably skip it and focus on Paris itself. If you’re there for a week or more, have kids, or you’re a serious Disney fan, it’s worth the day trip. The park is smaller than the American Disneys, which actually works in your favor – you can see most of it in one day without feeling rushed.

Book tickets here – instant confirmation, show your phone at the gate. No printing needed.

One thing to know: Download the Disneyland Paris app before you go. It shows wait times and helps you navigate between the two parks efficiently.
